The universal support forms the base for the Tormek wet grinding system. The US-103 Universal Support with Micro Adjust T-4 has a trapezoidal thread with flat thread tips that won’t be damaged by the locking knob. The universal support is also equipped with Micro Adjust for quick and precise setting of the sharpening angle and sharpening depth.

This versatile universal support is the basis of the Tormek system. It’s made from 12 mm (0.47″) round steel and has double attachments for maximum stability. You can position it vertically for sharpening into the edge (edge leading), horizontally for sharpening away from the edge (edge trailing), or horizontally for honing with jigs.
The US-103 Universal Support with Micro Adjust T-4 has Micro Adjust to allow you to set the sharpening angle and sharpening depth quickly and accurately. Micro Adjust was introduced in August 2003. Older machines can be upgraded by purchasing this new universal support as an accessory.
The US-103 Universal Support with Micro Adjust T-4 fits the Tormek T-4, Tormek T-3 and Tormek 1200.
