The SVP-80 Moulding Knife Attachment flat-grinds all types of moulding knives, with 24, 30 and 36 mm spacing between guide holes. This jig is easy to use and the lumber gets a smooth surface with sharp blades. You can also sharpen profiled paint scrapers to maximum sharpness.

Since the sharpening is done on the flat backside of the moulding knife, this jig can handle all kinds of profiles with a maximum width of 100 mm (3 7/8″). The frame includes two sliding strips that reduce friction and facilitate sharpening. You maintain good contact with the blade and you can feel when it touches the grinding wheel. The SVP-80 Moulding Knife Attachment also allows you to sharpen profiled paint scrapers to maximum sharpness.
The SVP-80 Moulding Knife Attachment has a steel plate with a magnetic insert with a number of holes. You can easily see which holes correspond to the holes in your moulding knife and insert the clamping pins supplied into the corresponding holes on the magnet. This allows you to easily and freely mount your various moulding knives for steady sharpening.

Like two jigs in one

Symmetrical result on flexible knives
This well-balanced, patented jig provides extra stability when sharpening knives with long, flexible blades such as filleting knives. With the KJ-140 Wide Centering Knife Jig, you achieve symmetrical sharpening with the same angle on both sides of the blade. Regardless of the thickness and geometry of the blade, it will self-center in the jig, giving you the same result on both bevels. The longer clamp stabilizes flexible knife blades to prevent them from flexing, so that you get the same angle and pressure over the entire bevel.
