You can use the RB-180 Rotating Base to easily rotate your machine 180° and then lock it in place. This allows you to alternate between sharpening and honing, or alternate between sharpening edge trailing and edge leading in just a few seconds. With no effort.

Some tools are best sharpened when the stone is rotating into the edge. Other tools are best sharpened with the stone rotating away from the edge. With Tormek’s rotating base, you can easily rotate your machine 180° and adapt the direction of rotation to your needs.
The rotating base also makes it easy to switch between sharpening and honing. Always hone with the honing wheel rotating away from the edge (edge trailing), otherwise there’s a risk of the tool cutting into the honing wheel and damaging it.
We’ve been very careful to make the RB-180 Rotating Base as thin as possible so it doesn’t raise the machine and change the sharpening position. You can easily rotate your Tormek without heavy lifting or spilling water. All for the best sharpening experience.
The plastics in the RB-180 Rotating Base are optimized to provide low friction and high stability. What’s more, the rotating base rests on rubber feet that absorb any vibrations and keep it steady while you sharpen your tools.
The RB-180 Rotating Base fits the Tormek T-8, Tormek T-4, Tormek T-7, and Tormek T-3, as well as models 2000, 1200, SA-250, and N-1500.

Set the correct sharpening angle easily and precisely
The Tormek WM-200 AngleMaster has several smart features. You can use it to set the jig before sharpening, or to measure an existing bevel angle of a tool. It can also be adjusted to the diameter of the grinding wheel, and you can easily set the sharpening angle for sharpening on the side of a diamond grinding wheel as well.
Change the grit size on your grindstone
The SP-650 Stone Grader allows you to adjust the sharpening characteristics of your Original Grindstone or Blackstone Silicon. These grindstones have adjustable sharpening characteristics equivalent to between 220 and 1000 grit. The fine side of the stone grader provides finer sharpening characteristics, while the coarse side is used to maintain the grindstone and reactivate the grit for more effective and coarser sharpening.

Keeps your grindstone round and flat
If your grindstone has worn and become uneven, this can be easily fixed with the TT-50 Truing Tool. It makes your stone round and flat again, with maximum precision. The tool’s diamond tip removes the very top layer of the grindstone at the points where there’s too much material. The TT-50 Truing Tool fits all Tormek machines with a universal support, and works on all grinding wheels except for the diamond grinding wheels.
