As you can tell from the name, the MSK-200 Stainless Steel Shaft with EzyLock is made of stainless steel for maximum service life. With the Tormek EzyLock, which works as both a nut and a washer, it’s easy to mount the grinding wheel with nothing but your bare hands. The large pitch of the left-hand washer nut causes the rotational force of the grinding wheel to tighten the nut.
If you need to replace your grinding wheel, turn it clockwise while holding the honing wheel with your other hand. The EzyLock nut will then automatically release. This design makes it easy to work with different grinding wheels. When mounting the grinding wheel, turn the EzyLock nut counterclockwise by hand. When you start sharpening, the nut will automatically be tightened to the correct torque.
The newer drive wheels manufactured from 1993 onwards have a deep groove for the drive pin. You use the pre-drilled hole on these.
Older drive wheels manufactured before 1993 have a shallower groove for the drive pin. If you have one of these, you can either buy a new drive wheel (art. no. R23) or drill a hole 4 mm (0.16″) in diameter. More information can be found in the Instructions MSK-250 EN document.
They fit the Tormek T-8, Tormek T-7, Tormek 2000 and older models with a 250 mm (9 7/8″) diameter grinding wheel.

Horizontal precision mounts for older machine models.
The XB-100 Horizontal Base allows you to sharpen with the rotation of the grinding wheel running away from the edge (edge trailing) instead of into the edge (edge leading). The XB-100 Horizontal Base was supplied as standard on all Tormek S-2000 and S-1200 machines after 8 August 2001. If you have an older machine, you can upgrade it with a horizontal base.
Replace the drive wheel and give your machine a new lease of life
Has the drive wheel on your Tormek given up after many years of faithful service? The Tormek R-21 Drive Wheel with Rubber Ring T-4 T-2 T-1 is a spare part that breathes new life into your Tormek. This drive wheel is the same as the one fitted in the Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener, Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener and Tormek T-4 sharpening machines, as well as older machine models with a grinding wheel 200 mm (7 7/8″) in diameter.
The base for all jigs on Tormek T-4
The universal support forms the base for the Tormek wet grinding system. The US-103 Universal Support with Micro Adjust T-4 has a trapezoidal thread with flat thread tips that won’t be damaged by the locking knob. The universal support is also equipped with Micro Adjust for quick and precise setting of the sharpening angle and sharpening depth.
Water trough for Tormek T-4 and older models
