Just secure your scissors to the holder, set the angle of the support plate and glide the blade across the grinding wheel. You will have a consistent edge with a simplicity you’ll appreciate and results you can trust.
Not all scissors are built the same. Some may have convex blades, some curved and all different shapes and sizes. The SC-60 Scissors Jig’s smart, adjustable design allows you to follow the unique shape of each blade, ensuring a consistent edge along the entire bevel. With the reduced friction and vibration, you will be able to glide the blade smoothly across the grinding wheel safely and accurately (even if the blade might sing a somewhat unpleasent song of joy from being sharpened again).
When used on the Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener, you can sharpen scissors with a blade length up to 120 mm / 4.7″ (measured from the pivot point to the tip). Longer scissors can be sharpened only if they are disassembled, allowing each blade to be sharpened separately.
Please note: while the SC-60 Scissors Jig handles standard shapes with ease, it may have limitations when it comes to scissors with unconventional edges such as wavy shears or pinking scissors. You can experiment with different models with the machine turned off, and carefully see if your specific, unconvetional scissors or shears will be sharpenable. We do not recommend using the SC-60 Scissors Jig to sharpen hairdressing scissors due to their specific demands.

Always sharp drill bits
The DBS-22 Drill Bit Sharpening Attachment allows you to sharpen your drill bits from 3 mm (1/8″) to 22 mm (7/8″) in diameter with maximum precision and to give a four-facet point for best performance. Like two jigs in one
This jig is called the “Multi Jig” for a very good reason. You can use the SVS-50 Multi Jig to sharpen straight and round-edged woodturning chisels, as well as parting tools, roughing gouges and woodcarving gouges and chisels.

Symmetrical result regardless of blade thickness or geometry
With Tormek’s patented KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig, you’ll get symmetrical bevels with the same angle on both sides of the knife, regardless of the thickness or geometry of the blade. Whether you’re sharpening a regular kitchen knife or a thicker, tapered hunting knife, you’ll get the same results on both bevels of the knife without needing to reset the jig. The KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig fits most types of knives: household knives, chef’s knives, craft knives and knives for hunting and fishing. It also works for the woodcarver’s straight drawknives and the gardener’s pruning shears.
