KPP-2 Knife Protection Pads fit in the guide of the Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener and Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener. The pads capture sharpening dust and steel particles that occur when sharpening. It protects the blade from scratches, so you can safely sharpen even your finest knives. If the pad in your guide is worn out, you can easily replace it yourself with a new set of KPP-2 Knife Protection Pads.

The pads are fitted to the inside of the guide of the Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener and Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener to catch any steel dust that the magnet in the guide fails to collect.
The KPP-2 Knife Protection Pads are mounted by removing the guide from the machine and disassembling the two parts of the guide. You can easily remove the old pads on each part of the guide and stick the new self-adhering ones on. Note that the two pads are different shapes and only fit on the part of the guide that’s the same shape.
