One tip is to twist your worn tip slightly before switching to a new one. There’s a chance that new diamonds will emerge and the tip will be effective again.

The US-105 Universal Support with Micro Adjust T-8 has a trapezoidal thread with flat thread tips that won’t be damaged by the locking knob. The universal support is also equipped with Micro Adjust for quick and precise setting of the sharpening angle and sharpening depth.
