The RBS-140 round blade sharpening attachment fits most blade models for your electric knives with round, rotary blades.
The accessory is specially designed to fit only the Tormek T-2 Pro kitchen knife sharpener, which removes a minimal amount of steel and gives you a professionally sharpened blade in no time.
With the RBS-140 Round Blade Sharpening Attachment, you no longer need to remove your round knife blades to sharpen professionally. You also prevent them from becoming dull or damaged after grinding on a stone, which results in varying bevel angles over the blade. Instead, you get a professionally sharpened blade in no time, with the same bevel angle around the entire blade. Your round knife blades never have to leave your restaurant again!
Because the RBS-140 Round Blade Sharpening Attachment is used with the T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener, a minimal amount of steel is removed from the blades of your rotary knife during sharpening. This gives them a longer life – benefiting both the environment and your wallet. Quick and easy!
Sharpening your round knife blades to professional sharpness is as easy as it gets with the RBS-140 Round Blade Sharpening Attachment. After placing the blade in the attachment, fold it into the grinding wheel and start the machine. The accessory is designed so that your knife’s round blades automatically rotate against the fine diamond grinding wheel and are sharpened without you having to do anything more than start the machine. After a minute or so, the blade is fully sharpened. You then remove the blade and sharpen it separately on the composite grinding wheel to remove the burr that has formed and polish the edge until it becomes a razor sharp edge (be sure to wear protective gloves!). It’s just as easy to do as the blade will be sharp!
